Reviews
- Winter_7The yellow rice cake was so soft and sweet, kinda melted in your mouth, and the osmanthus honey on top added this really nice extra layer. Perfect little palate cleanser for summer honestly. The Yellow River carp braised in aged vinegar was a huge portion, like seriously massive. The fish was super tender and soaked up all that flavor — the vinegar was strong but didn't overpower anything, just worked really well. Went perfectly with rice, super comforting. Service was great too, everyone was really friendly and the food came out fast. They kept refilling our water and clearing the table without us even having to ask. The whole place had this cool Shanxi vibe going on, made the meal feel even more chill. We got a few of their signature dishes and every single one had something going for it. Fresh ingredients, authentic flavors, nothing felt phoned in. Honestly one of the more comfortable meals I've had in Beijing, would totally come back.
