  Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express near Qianmen for a work trip, and one night I just wanted some late-night food, so I randomly picked this little place on the street. Honestly, super surprised by how good it was! We got some lamb skewers, some juicy Xinjiang-style skewers, a whole jin of fresh roasted lamb, foil-grilled chives, and some Xinjiang baked buns. The owner is clearly from the northwest, and the skewers are made the legit northwest way — bite of lamb, bite of onion, sooo fragrant. And the lamb quality is really good!!
