Reviews
- fluffy_aye-ayeThis place is tucked away in a little residential neighborhood but honestly that was part of the charm, super old Beijing vibe with red brick walls and wooden tables, super photogenic. They do the classic copper pot charcoal hotpot, which is the real deal, and the lamb slices were cut so thin they literally cook in a few seconds and come out crazy tender. The sesame sauce they give you is next level, so rich and fragrant. We got the set menu for two and it was such a good deal, just over 100 RMB for both of us and we were stuffed. It came with sesame flatbreads and frozen tofu which soaked up all the flavor. And the freshly fried chili oil at the sauce station was so good, I kept adding more. After dinner we just walked across to the park which was a nice bonus. Solid experience all around, would come back for sure.
