Reviews
- Isle_3This Guangshunxing (a Cantonese spot) is on the ground floor of Tianjian Plaza on Zaoyuan Road. Super spacious and comfy inside, with this old-school Cantonese style decor that makes the whole place feel really warm and cozy. Heads up though, if you come during peak hours you might have to wait for a table, so get there early or go off-peak. The pork belly chicken hotpot (猪肚鸡) is their signature, and honestly a must-order. They bring it out and the first thing you do is drink the broth — it's so rich and fresh, with just the right amount of white pepper kick. The pork belly and chicken portions are super generous, and dipping them in their special seafood sauce is sooo good. The clay pot rice (煲仔饭) comes with this crispy rice crust at the bottom that's so fragrant, and they really load it up with stuff. Also tried the sugarcane and water chestnut drink (竹蔗马蹄水) — it's lightly sweet and cuts right through the richness, perfect pairing. Service was warm and quick, food came out fast too. Honestly great value for what you get, great for hanging out with friends or a family meal. Price per person is totally reasonable. Definitely a Cantonese place I'd come back to.
