They had this ocean creature exhibit going on in the mall over summer, with all kinds of sea stuff and even a mermaid show — my little one was totally mesmerized. Parents can browse the shops too, and there are cool trendy toy stores like Pop Mart that kids go crazy for. Food-wise we grabbed hotpot at Yangfang, a really solid old-school place that works great for families, and there's also this new British bakery called Madeleine that's super convenient — no need to trek into the city for it. Heads up though, weekends get PACKED and the elevators can be painfully slow, so definitely try to go off-peak. If you're staying in Changping, this place is honestly a one-stop shop for keeping the kid entertained and getting some shopping done. Will be back for sure!
