- sagacious_galagoThe vibe: I'd always seen super long lines at the Raffles location and never got in, so I was kinda surprised when we walked into the Bailian branch on a weekday and it was practically empty, tons of seats. The food: we got the two-person set, and it had pretty much everything I was craving. The pumpkin congee and the little side dishes were refillable, which was a nice touch. The cheese beef rolls had a layer of grilled pineapple on top that was actually really tasty, but… I honestly couldn't taste any cheese?? The other dishes were honestly just standard Korean BBQ quality — nothing about the meat really wowed me. Service: since the place was pretty empty, the guy basically grilled everything for us the whole time, and anytime we needed something he was right there. Overall: yeah, you can eat here, but it's pretty average. Definitely not worth waiting in a long line or making a special trip for. Cross this one off the list, I'd say.
