Reviews
- Vesper_9This place has really solid Subei-style (northern Jiangsu) food — such a nice change from the usual Beijing stuff. The jianbing juan sansun (crispy pancake wrapped around fried twisted dough) was honestly so good, the outside was super crispy and the inside smelled amazing, every bite had so many layers going on. The di guo ji (sizzling chicken claypot) had that amazing wok hei / smoky flavor, chicken was so tender and packed with flavor, and the veggies on the side had soaked up all that rich broth. The space inside is set up really nicely too, kinda elegant but still cozy — perfect for hanging out with friends or bringing family. Service was friendly and food came out fast. Overall flavors taste really authentic and ingredients are fresh. Pretty great experience, would definitely come back!
