- sapphire_acornBeen ages since I had the pork belly chicken hotpot at Jinyuan, and since it's freezing today I figured why not. Good thing we got there early because by the time we sat down people were already lining up. The pork belly chicken soup was honestly so good and warming, though sometimes I feel the pepper hits a little heavy and it's got a bit of a spicy kick. Today the pork belly wasn't quite as melt-in-your-mouth tender as I remember, and the chicken was a touch on the dry side. The vibe is still great though, it's right on the east side of Jinyuan mall. Service was really nice too. And for the price? Totally worth it, will definitely be back.
