  Brought my kid here for a walk and it was actually really nice. The park isn't huge but everything's laid out clearly, and the kids' play area has tons of stuff — he had a blast running around. The old-style pavilions and towers make for super cute photo spots, and the lake with all the trees and little paths along the edge is just so peaceful. Came back around dusk and it was way less crowded, really nice and quiet for a slow stroll. Ran into a few older folks out for a walk and they ended up chatting with us about the park's history, which was honestly the highlight. Definitely a chill spot if you're in the area.
