Reviews
- Hayden_32Stopped by this place — Ziguangyuan — for an afternoon snack. It's a Muslim/halal spot on Sihai Road, super easy to find. Went on a weekday afternoon so it wasn't crowded at all, and the place was really clean and bright with everything nicely laid out. The standout for me was the fried pork (it's beef actually, halal style) — super crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and you can really taste the beef. It was a little on the salty side but honestly that just made it more addictive. The shredded chicken was a must-buy too, really fragrant and had a great chewy bite. For the mains/snacks, they had tons of options. The beef-filled buns were amazing — thin skin, packed with filling, and honestly best eaten fresh and piping hot out of the steamer. Also tried the milk skin yogurt which was super rich and creamy, definitely worth a try. Prices aren't super cheap but you can tell the ingredients are legit and the flavors are really traditional. Felt like it was worth it. If you're into authentic halal food and wanna grab some cooked food or snacks for a meal, this is your spot.
