Dishes
Qingyuan ChickenQingyuan chicken is a dish primarily made with high-quality Sanhuang chickens from Qingyuan. It is typically prepared by stewing the whole chicken or using the white-cut method. After blanching, the chicken is slowly simmered in clear water to retain its original flavor, resulting in tender and smooth meat.
Sweet CornSweet corn is a dish made primarily from fresh sweet corn. The kernels are usually blanched or steamed to preserve their natural sweetness and crisp texture. It can be cooked alone or stir-fried with ingredients like carrots and green peas.
Salt-Baked Chicken FeetSalt-baked chicken feet is a dish made by marinating chicken feet in salt, spices, and seasonings, then baking them in hot salt until fully cooked and infused with flavor.
Luoding Wrinkled Fish DumplingsLuoding Wrinkled Fish Balls is a traditional Cantonese dish made primarily from fresh fish meat, mixed with egg white and starch to form a paste, then deep-fried. The fish meat is minced or beaten and combined with seasonings to create a smooth fish paste, which is shaped into balls and fried until golden brown with a wrinkled texture on the surface, while remaining tender and elastic inside.
Crispy Mandarin Fish SlicesCrispy bream slices are made from fresh bream, sliced thin and marinated with wine and salt, then coated in starch or egg white before being quickly fried. Stir-fried with ginger, garlic, scallions, and green/red peppers, then tossed in a savory sauce to achieve a crispy exterior and tender interior.
Taro StripsYutiao is a dish made primarily from taro, sliced into thin strips and cooked by frying or stir-frying. Season with salt, scallions, and ginger to enhance its soft, naturally sweet flavor.
Sesame PasteSesame paste is a traditional dessert made primarily from black sesame, glutinous rice, and sugar. After soaking black sesame and glutinous rice, they are ground into a paste, then sugar is added and the mixture is cooked until thickened. It has a smooth texture and is rich in nutrition.
Dipping SauceA dipping sauce is a seasoned condiment used to accompany food, primarily made by mixing soy sauce, vinegar, garlic paste, chili oil, cilantro, and green onions. Additional ingredients such as sugar, sesame seeds, or crushed peanuts can be added according to taste. The preparation method involves thoroughly mixing all the ingredients until well combined.
Fish-Flavored TofuFish tofu is a dish made primarily from fish meat and tofu. Fish meat is minced and mixed with seasonings to form fish paste, which is then cooked together with tofu cubes, blending the tenderness of the fish paste with the softness of the tofu. It's typically stewed in clear or rich broth to preserve its original flavor.
Chicken Oil RiceChicken oil rice is a traditional delicacy made primarily with chicken fat and fragrant rice. To prepare it, the rice is first stir-fried with chicken fat, then simmered with an appropriate amount of chicken broth until fully cooked, allowing the rice to absorb the rich aroma of the chicken fat and the savory flavor of the broth.
Reviews
- haughty_parrotGot the half Qingyuan chicken and wow, the meat was insanely tender, literally melted in my mouth, and the skin had just the right amount of crunch to it. The garlic dipping sauce they make in-house was so good too, layers of flavor, super fragrant. The broth was rich and tasted really nourishing. Staff were super friendly, kept refilling our water without us asking and reminded us about the heat level. The crispy wampi fish slices in the sides were also delicious, just a few seconds in the pot and they were perfectly tender and flavorful. Honestly such a comfy experience overall.
