- massive_cashewThis Ba He Li Hai Ji is located in Zhongguancun No.1, on the 5th floor of Building A5. The space is pretty big and nicely decorated, seats aren't cramped at all. The beef quality really stands out — the slices are cut super thin, and cuts like the hanging dragon and tender meat only need like 8 to 10 seconds in the broth and they're done, so fresh and tender. The beef tendon balls are handmade, super bouncy and juicy. The condiment bar has tons of options and the satay sauce plus the Chaoshan chili sauce are the highlights, definitely try the dipping combos they recommend. Weekends and evenings get pretty packed so you might have to wait for a table, but they turn tables pretty fast. The staff actually comes over to help you cook the meat and refill the broth, which was such a nice touch. If you're coming as a pair, grab one of their group deal sets — comes with meat, veggies, and fried tofu skin, plenty of food, and you leave feeling all warm and cozy. Honestly really solid spot.
