- Joss_7Found this little noodle shop tucked away in a hutong and honestly it was such a vibe. The place was super clean with wooden tables and chairs, warm yellow lighting, total old Beijing feel. I got the Beijing-style braised noodles and wow, the sauce was rich and savory, noodles had that perfect chewy bite, and the big chunks of pork and braised egg were soaked in all that flavor — every bite had so much going on. Also tried the shredded pork with green peppers, super fresh stir-fried, spicy in a way that hits but doesn't burn your throat. Noodles were so good drenched in that sauce. Food came out pretty quick too and the service was really on point. Overall just a really comfortable meal, definitely coming back next time I'm in Beijing.
