Reviews
- slim_lentilThis buffet is on the first floor of the Nanjing Grand Hotel in Wangfujing, super easy to find. The place is bright and spacious, service is really attentive — they cleared our plates quickly and the manager actually came over to ask how everything was. For about 150 RMB per person, it's honestly a great deal for a Beijing buffet. It's not the type of place with a million random dishes everywhere, but the quality is solid and everything tastes fresh. They had the usual seafood like salmon, shrimp, and oysters, but I'd say try the Nanjing specialties — the sweet and sour pork ribs are huge and super flavorful, and the turtle dish is worth a shot. The grilled steak and scallops are brought to your table by the staff, which is a nice touch. Ice cream is Haagen-Dazs and they had sake along with the regular drinks. Overall, if you care about good ingredients and don't wanna drop a ton of cash, this is a solid pick. Come on a weekday lunch if you don't wanna deal with crowds.
