The lamb was super tender and juicy, and when you dunk it in that thick sesame sauce with a little sprinkle of the chive flower on top, the whole old Beijing flavor just hits you. The copper pot was heated over charcoal and just bubbling away the whole time, which was so cozy and warming. The vibe inside has this nice classical feel to it, and the private rooms upstairs are pretty secluded, great for hanging out with friends. Service was really attentive, food came out quick, and the sauce bar had tons of options with that rich sesame paste they mix up. Overall a really comfortable experience, definitely coming back.
