Reviews
- scraggly_ladybugTucked away near Xidan, this little Ningbo spot has such a chill vibe — the Jiangnan-style decor is gorgeous and gives off really cozy, elegant energy. Great for hanging out with friends or a family dinner. We ordered the Ningbo-style marinated crab, and wow, the roe was so full and rich, super fragrant. It came with rice cakes that had soaked up all that scallion oil flavor, and honestly even cold it wasn't fishy at all, which kinda surprised me. Totally blew me away. The big Ningbo soup dumplings had super thin wrappers and were stuffed with sweet filling — not too sweet either, just right, really smooth texture. The bamboo shoot and roasted pork was salty and savory, meat was nice and firm. Everything tasted really fresh and super authentic. I'd come back for sure.
