Reviews
- valiant_pecanThis place is 100% worth a special trip for the Peking duck — no joke. The skin was super crispy and actually crackled when you bit in, and the meat was tender and juicy. You could even pick up this subtle fruity, smoky flavor from the fruitwood they roast it over. They really nail the timing on it. We also tried the Beijing-style lamb and the lu zhu (classic Beijing stew with offal and tofu), and both were really authentic and super generous portions. My friend and I ordered the two-person set and couldn't even finish it. Heads up if you're not that hungry. The vibe is this new Chinese style decor, dark red tones, feels kinda upscale but not stuffy. Felt great for a family dinner or honestly even a business thing. Service was on point too — someone was always around from the moment we walked in to when we left, and they brought out a free fruit plate and even ice pops, which was such a nice touch. It's on Feng Guan Lu and they have their own parking lot, so super easy if you're driving over. Honestly just a really solid, well-rounded Beijing cuisine spot. Flavor is legit, experience is complete, and the price is pretty fair. Definitely coming back.
