- stubborn_cuminHonestly, this place is huge — like 350,000 square meters of mixed-use development spread out in three phases. The first phase is mostly offices and retail, and they kept the old blast furnace and train tracks from the industrial days, then built glass curtain walls and steel structures around them. The contrast between the old industrial stuff and the new modern buildings is honestly pretty cool. The office spaces are loft style with ceilings up to 8 meters high, which is supposed to be great for tech companies doing R&D or showing off products and running experiments. Phase two is more focused on R&D and exhibition stuff — smart labs, digital showrooms, that kind of thing. Phase three is gonna be a riverside commercial strip with restaurants, leisure spots, and cultural stuff, basically trying to tie together work, life, and socializing all in one place. It's a really ambitious project and you can already see the vision coming together. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Beijing — there's a bit of everything here.
