Reviews
- reflective_heronHonestly I used to really like Starbucks but today kinda soured me on it. We stopped by around 6pm to browse the cups since I'm collecting them. Couldn't find anything I loved, but my second kid was begging for one of these little patch-shaped ones. They only had one left in the case and I didn't wanna deal with splitting it between two kids so I was just gonna come back tomorrow, especially since we were about to grab dinner and I wasn't really in the mood anyway. Then my older kid goes "I don't even like them, just buy one." I told the barista yeah, just one. And she goes "oh I actually have another one, one is 7.5 yuan but two is like 6.8 with the discount." Like how am I supposed to take that?? I said again, just one. My older kid pipes up "okay fine get me one too" and I'm like sure whatever. So we check out and I look at the receipt later and it's full price. I ask the employee and he says "I was talking about the cheese, not the cup." Excuse me???? I wasn't even that mad at that point, just asked to return one and the staff basically told me to kick rocks and wait... so we left. THEN in the car I noticed the cheese had no sealed packaging and the date showed it had been sitting there for like half a month. That's when I actually got mad. Pushing expired-ish stuff on me that hard?? Is Starbucks really that desperate to move product?? Way to ruin my Spring Festival vibe, thanks a lot. To be fair though, it's not actually expired so it's fine to eat, just the whole experience was super sketchy and kinda gross. Probably won't be rushing back.
