Reviews
- lucky_crocusBeen craving a real bowl of beef noodles and this old Muslim noodle spot on Hufang Lu totally hit the spot. The noodles had that perfect chewy bite, the beef was fall-apart tender with a nice mix of fatty and lean plus some tendon, and the portion was huge. The broth was rich and deep, and yeah, I followed an old-timer's tip and added a spoonful of chili oil and some vinegar — game changer, took it from really good to wow. Also tried the cold appetizer platter and some fried skewers; the lamb skewers were super juicy, and the bean curd skewers soaking up all that sauce was actually a fun surprise. Place is clean, food came out fast, prices are super reasonable, and the best part is you can get free noodle and broth refills on the beef and beef tendon noodles. Great for a quick work lunch or eating solo. Easy to find right on the street, but heads up — it gets packed at mealtimes and the place is small so you might end up waiting for a table.
