This time I went with the fatty and lean lamb and these little things called qingrenguo — kind of a sweet and sour fruit that was super refreshing and cut through all the rich meat. The lamb itself was cooked perfectly, crispy outside and really tender inside. Cute little setup too — they've got these small charcoal grills at the table so you skewer the meat and cook it yourself, which honestly makes the whole meal way more fun. The owner is still as friendly as ever, kept coming over to suggest specialties, and we tried this dish called qiang dan pao — the owner broke it down and explained it table-side which was really cool and it tasted amazing. Honestly pretty solid value for what we paid, and we walked out perfectly full without feeling like we overdid it. Definitely coming back again.
