- gigantic_spruceThis 313 Yang Zhuang is a pretty well-known old-school lamb place, right on the ground floor of the Wanlin Building — the storefront is super easy to spot. Their whole thing is lamb from Inner Mongolia's Ximeng ranch, and honestly the meat is really tender, holds up even after cooking it forever in the broth, and the soup base is clear but has that amazing milky lamb flavor. One of the coolest parts is the little pre-meal soup ritual — the server walks you through four different ways to drink it, each one's got its own vibe. Service is really attentive too, they came over and skimmed the foam off the pot for us and showed us the sauce station. You mix your own dipping sauce from a bunch of options and it seriously takes the clear broth up a notch. Overall a really solid experience, great for a family dinner or hanging out with friends, especially when you're in the mood for something warming and hearty. Would definitely come back when I wanna get my lamb fix.
