- River_12Came here with a friend after shopping around Greenland, and we randomly walked into Micun Banfan since it's been ages since we had it. So glad we did. The "roasted beef mixed rice" (烤牛肉拌饭) was loaded with toppings — corn kernels, little bits of beef, crushed seaweed, kimchi, mushrooms, and veggies. The spicy sauce mixed in with everything was perfect, and once you tossed it all together the rice aroma with the fresh veggies and meat just hit different. Honestly sooo good, I kept going back for more bites. The "spicy squid" (香辣鱿鱼) came with a TON of sauce — maybe a little salty on its own tbh, but you HAVE to pour it over the stone pot rice, grab a few pieces of squid and mix in like half a spoon of that sauce. Total flavor explosion, omg. Then the "cheese rice cake chicken" (芝士年糕鸡) was insane. The stretchy, melty cheese was so creamy and rich, and wrapped around the chewy rice cakes and chicken pieces? The tender chicken with the bouncy, soft rice cake — I literally could not stop eating it, one bite after another. And the "cheese corn" (芝士玉米) was such a vibe — the sweetness of the corn mixed with the rich cheese was perfect. First you get that creamy cheese on the outside, then bite in and the sweet corn just bursts on your tongue. Every bite was a treat. Also amazing mixed into the rice for a little extra sweetness. Definitely coming back. Service was quick too which I appreciated!
