- Noa_27Okay this place really surprised me in the best way. Got the dry-mixed tofu pudding rice noodles and wow, the tofu pudding was so silky and the noodles had that perfect chewy bite, all tossed with ground pork, crushed peanuts, and these super fragrant mushrooms. Couldn't stop eating honestly, every bite was better than the last. Also tried the grilled tilapia and the potato clay pot rice. The fish skin was crazy crispy and the meat was so tender, and the rice had these potatoes that soaked up all the sauce, super flavorful and comforting. The owner mentioned a lot of the ingredients get flown in from Yunnan, and you can totally taste it — really feels like a different vibe from the usual Beijing spots. It was pretty busy when we went but the food came out at a decent pace. Overall really solid experience, I'd come back for sure.
