The 49-meter Ferris wheel—modest beside the London Eye's 135 meters but evocative of the vintage park wheels at Copenhagen's Tivoli—revolves above the Tiansha River and serves as the complex's defining landmark. From its peak at golden hour, passengers gaze across the new Pengjiang skyline and the slow ribbon of water below. More than thirty compact attractions fill the grounds: swinging pirate ships, a pink-sand play pit, dodgem-style karts, and the obligatory carousel. The atmosphere skews easygoing rather than thrill-driven, well suited to a relaxed two- to four-hour visit. A covered food-and-tea street threads through the property, drawing vendors of Cantonese street fare: chicken wings aged with Xinhui chenpi (sun-dried tangerine peel, a regional signature), Enping rice noodles, bubble tea, coffee bars, and barbecue joints. Riverside seating catches the evening breeze, and locals linger longest here once the rides quiet down. Several restaurants are still finishing fit-outs, so availability can be uneven during the trial period. Master plans envision phased additions—a pet park, slide playground, glamping field, and outdoor performance venue—slated for completion by late 2026. During the current soft-opening phase, regular evening shows and the full light installation have not yet launched, so visitors seeking a polished nighttime spectacle should telephone ahead to confirm what is running that day. Even so, the Ferris-wheel vista and promenade atmosphere already reward an early-evening arrival. Gates run daily from 10:00 to 22:00; arriving around 17:30 lets you catch the rides in daylight before the wheel lights up at dusk. From Jiangmen High-Speed Rail Station, a taxi covers the 15-to-20-minute journey easily. Drivers can navigate to "Chao'an Happy World," where parking is straightforward. Allow three to four hours on site, or pair the park with a half-day among the Kaiping diaolou watchtowers or a hike up Xinhui's Mount Guifeng for a richer Guangdong itinerary.
