A Residence of Wu Cheng’ēn is located in Huaian City, Huaian District, Jiangsu Province, China. It is the birthplace and remains of the Ming Dynasty writer Wu Cheng’ēn, renowned as “the cradle of mythological birth.” The residence is situated on a hillside beside water, with ancient trees towering in the courtyard. Ginkgo trees, locust trees, and other century-old ancient trees have lush foliage, creating a timeless natural scroll. The main hall displays Ming Dynasty manuscripts of *Journey to the West*, with yellowed pages still revealing Sun Wukong’s rebellious spirit and Tang Sanzang’s persistence, making visitors feel as if they have traveled back to the glorious atmosphere of the birth of the myth.
