The City God Temple is right in the heart of the Yu Garden commercial area, and I think entering through the Nine-Turn Bridge side gives you the best atmosphere. Once you're inside you can check out the main hall, the God of Wealth hall, and the Old Man Under the Moon hall in order. Loads of incense burning but somehow it stays pretty organized, and the wood carvings and colorful painted beams on the ceilings are really gorgeous...
