I had originally planned to take the South Route up and the Central Route down, but I mistook the southern hiking trail for the South Route, so I ended up taking the route that has the longest distance to Xianglu Peak. I probably walked a few hundred extra meters, but the views were still pretty good. I checked out all the main red-themed attractions near the foot of the South Route. Since I started heading down the South Route after 4pm, the scenic spots below Shenyuhu had already closed, so I could only look at them from the outside.
